1.* Aerospace Engg (AE) : M.Tech in Aerospace Engg/ Mechanical.
2.* Avionics (AV) : M.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication Engineer.
3.* Chemistry (CH) : M.Sc/ M.Tech(Che/ Polymer Technology).
4.* Earth and Space Sciences (ES) : M.Sc/ M.Tech (Phy/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Astronomy/ Remote Sensing)/ B.E/ B.Tech in Engg. with M.Tech in CS/ Soft Computing/ Remote Sensing.
5.* Mathematics (MA) : M.Sc in Maths/ Applied Mathematics/ Stati.
6.* Physics (PH) : M.Sc / M.Tech in Phy/ Applied Physics.

Age as on 1-1-2010: Below 28 yrs
Fellowship: Rs. 35,000/- pm

Selection Process: Candidates will be short-listed based on Academic records and other relevant criteria like research experience, National Eligibility Tests, etc. All short-listed candidates will be required to appear a written test in their relevant areas. Qualified candidates will be required to appear an interview the following day.

Application m should be accompanied a fee of Rs. 250/- in the m of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at SBI, Thiruvananthapuram. Last date receipt of application m is on 31st December 2009
