WALKIN ON – 11th and 12th March FROM 12.00 Noon TO 6.00 pm
Position: Technical / Application / Product Support Engineer
Job description: 6 months to 1.5 yrs max
Note:
1. This is not a Software development position. Those with development / coding only skills please excuse.
2. Freshers may be considered if they have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as technically very strong. Those with good or average skills please excuse.
only those with exposure to any one area within each the domain listed below need apply:
Web-related technologies : HTML, XML and web servers like JBOSS, Tomcat, Weblogic
Database: Installation and configuration of DBs like MS SQL, Oracle, DB2
OS: OS administration in Windows as well as Unix/linux/Solaris/AIX
Hardware: Computer architecture
SDLC / scripting: Javascript, VB script, SDLC models
Networking: Networking basics like routers, DHCP, DNS, network layers, TCP/IP
Note: Network: Strong conceptual on TCP/IP, Routers, desktop network administration
• Atleast 6 month’s exp in technical / product support experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills is an absolute must (interaction with US / UK / international customers).
• Should be open to working in shifts (no night / graveyard shifts at present)
Edu : BE preferred / MCA / BCA / BSc
