Area Sales Manager with one of our reputed client in Scientific Division LCD LHC/ CCS or LED TC/Chromatography Consumables (Glass) Specialty ProductsPosition : Area Sales ManagerExperience : 4 8 yearsLocation : Bangalore / Hyderabad / DelhiEducation / Qualification :Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering background with MBA in Marketing.Graduate in Life Sciences with MBA / MMA / PGKey Duties and Responsibilities :PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITYThis position is responsible for selling chromatography and environmental consumable products for the Laboratory Consumables Division/Glass and Specialty Consumables Group (GSC)1. Sales:· Plans: You will adhere to the approved Sales Plans for LCD/ LED Sales by your line manager. Your all actions will be in consonance with the operative Sales targets.· Forecasts: You will be responsible for preparation of Sales Forecasts for your territory/area.· Implementation: You will be responsible for implementation of Sales Plans for your area/territory and achieve the sales revenue target· You shall adhere to a Quarterly Rolling Sales Plan communicated by the line manager. You will direct all your efforts to ensure that the Sales Plans are fully achieved.2. Account Receivables / Collections:You will be responsible for achieving the collection targets for your area. The staff under you will have to show absolute adherence to the Sales Collections targets for the Branch, and should plan their working as per the Company rules/procedures.Follow up on EMD, security deposits is your teams’ responsibility.Based on the collection targets allocated to you, you will channelize your efforts in ensuring that the Collections Plans are successfully met, every month.3. Credit Control Policies:You will implement ‘Credit Control Policies’ and system compliance effectively.4. No Claim Certificate (NCC):You will obtain the No Claim Certificate from all your Distributors and Rep every quarterly. The reconciliation’s have to be done every half yearly.5. Submission of Reports:You will submit all prescribed reports (Daily Sales Report, Monthly and Quarterly MIS, etc) to the line managers punctually.6. Tour Plans:You will prepare monthly tour plan /schedule for yourself and submit the same to your line manager.7. Market Intelligence Report (MIR):You have to prepare Market Intelligence Report based on product performance, feedback on quality and submit the report to your line manager.8. Market Expansion / New Markets:1. You will identify new Key accounts, Distributor / Channel partners and Direct trade opportunities and report to your line manager.2. You shall be always aware of the competitor’s activities in the market. You will have ready information in terms of prices, schemes, systems/procedures etc.3. You have to proactively follow up with CPM’s and Marketing Team for organizing, exhibitions, live demos etc. as per business priorities and requirement in your region.9. Distribution / Channel Management:1. You will be responsible for Distributor Management and Direct selling, including their Accounts Reconciliation. You will follow the Credit Control Policies of the Company completely. A true professional rapport will be maintained with all. No commitments/Communication, on business issues, with them will be done verbally. All communications to them shall have to be written and approved by commercial Leader.2. It will be your responsibility to establish an effective rapport with the Accounts Team. You will Distributor / Key accounts / Dealer Accounts at all times. You shall follow all accounting policies.10. Marketing and Advertising:1. You will follow the marketing and advertising strategies proposed by your Marketing Head / CPM’s.2. You have to plan in advance; the schemes, which suit the local market, region, market segment and submit a proposal to Regional Sales Manager / Marketing Head / Commercial Leader.11. Other Operational Responsibilities:1. You will establish a perfect working rapport with your Service counterparts. It will be your joint responsibility with them to ensure proper after sales service in your areas of operations.2. You will stick to expenses as allowed by the Company.
