Job Description

Position is responsible the procurement of Raw Material the R&D Centre catering to APIs development and Contract Research Manufacturing activities.
Interact with GM-SCM ensuring availability of RM as per Order Status.
Responsible safe & proper storage of materials
Put in place Sop's pertaining to Stores and Materials Handling
Procurement of engineering items, spares, consumables, Lab items
Ordering of capex items.
Procurement of solvents.
Sourcing and import of raw materials, R & D chemicals, critical items, solvents etc.
trong analytical skills, including a good understanding of Cause and Effect relationships. Strong Presentation Skills. Should have displayed Relationship building ability.
Knowledge of chemicals, markets, sources, statutory regulations.
Must posses computer skills.
Must posses strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge on imports.
Knowledge of handling imports.
Desirably:
Knowledge of advance license ( EPCG license preferred ).
Knowledge of handling Marine Insurance claims.
Must have demonstrated ability to interact and co-ordinate with various departments such as R&D, QC, and Manufacturing technical inputs.
